A: This is an online matchmaking site developed for best friends, brothers, sisters, aunts, and uncles who wish to find a mate for their single friend. Become their matchmaker!

Q: Is it free to be a member?
A: Yes! For a limited time membership is FREE for the first 3 months.

Q: Why should I join?
A: It is the perfect opportunity to network, screen, and set up a date for your loved one who may either be too busy or too shy to do it themselves.

Q: What are the benefits of becoming a member?
A: There are many exclusive benefits. These benefits include viewing profiles, contacting other matchmakers, utilizing the scorecard feature, scheduling dates, access to a member only message board and much more.

1 - Matchmaker's Communities
 
  Q: What types of communities do you offer?
A: We’ve got three amazing communities where you get to network as a matchmaker for your adult child, friend or parent:

Matchmaking Moms You’re a mom who truly believes your adult son or daughter deserves only the best in companionship. Who could actually be as witty, charming, adorable, and as intelligent as your dear one? Look no further. Meet the other moms who feel the exact same and are sincerely interested in introducing their sons and daughters to someone just as fabulous. Join in and compare notes. Once you get the ball rolling on their dates, the bragging rights could be endless.

Matchmaking Friends -
Here’s where you can set up a single friend who’s having a difficult time meeting new people due to a busy schedule, a city transfer or maybe they’re just flat out shy. You’ll meet other matchmakers whose friends are up for dating, too. Only you guys have done all the fancy detective work so your friends can just show up for the date and have fun.

Matchmaking Kids If you’re tired of the same old phone calls home with mom or dad always asking details about your exciting weekend, then we’ve got the matchmaking place for you. This community puts you in touch with other adult kids of single moms and dads so you can get them back on the dating scene without worry. Expand their social life and see them happy again. They deserve it. That next call home won’t be all about you next time.

Q: Can I block members outside my community from seeing my profile?
A: Absolutely. Individual profiles can be blocked. Click on the word “blocked” located in every user’s profile. Blocking unwanted users can be done via your “My Accounts”, then go into “My Favorites” to specify unwanted members.
 
   
 
2 - Register / Sign in
 
  Q: How do I register on MatchmakingMoms.com, MatchmakingFriends.com or MatchMakingKids.com?
A: It’s free to register and to create a profile. Click on “Become A Member” on any page and start filling out the account information. To complete the registration click on “Create My Profile”.

All sites are accessible via your one account, so there is no need to register for each. Be sure to check that you’ve read terms and conditions and have your loved one’s approval. Creating a Profile includes you in the search database, whereas Subscribers get the added benefits of exclusive access to view all profiles, pictures, and contact matchmakers. Additionally, Subscribers get to schedule dates. When you are ready to subscribe click here.

Q: I’m having trouble signing up. What should I do?
A: First, make sure you haven’t hit the “caps lock” button by accident. Entering usernames and passwords are case sensitive.

Make sure you entered your username and password as it was entered during registration. Be sure to double check this information and type it exactly as it was entered. Pay particular attention to underscores (_), punctuation, and unwanted spacing.
We may have found an irregularity in your account that needs to be addressed so your account has been put on hold.

You may have removed yourself from Matchmaking Moms, Matchmaking Friends, and/or Matchmaking Kids from the MY ACCOUNT page. Remember all sites can be accessed using your one username and password. If you cancel membership for one section, you have cancelled membership for all three sites.

Q: Can my password be the same as my email address?
A: I wouldn’t recommend it. You don’t want anyone entering your profiles without your consent, so make sure your password is unique so only you can remember it.

Q: Why am I receiving a message that my zip code is not recognized?
A: It’s possible that the postal service is changing or updating your area’s zip code. Please verify this zip code with your local postal office and contact us via email with your zip code so we can be sure to update our postal service system.

Q: How do I change my username?
A: First, click on “Members: Sign In Here”, then log in using current username and password. Then go to “My Account” section to update/ change username information.

Q: How do I change my password?
A: First, click on “Members: Sign In Here”, then log in using current username and password. Then go to “Member Services” section to update/ change password.

Q: How do I change my email address?
A: First, click on “Members: Sign In Here”, then log in using current username and password. Then go to “Member Services” section to update/ change email address.

Q: Yikes! I forgot my log in and password?
A: No need to fear, click on “Members: Sign In Here”. Next, click on “Email me my password“. Your password will be emailed to the registered email address that’s on file.

 
   
 
3 - Subscription / Membership
 
  Q: What are the benefits of being a Subscriber/Member?
A: Subscribers get the full benefits of the Matchmaking Friends membership. After filling out Profile information, the Subscriber has the advantages of seeing other member profiles, photos, and setting up dates for their loved ones. Additionally, Subscribers can venture into our two other communities to set up other friends and family for a small additional fee per person.

Q: What are my payment options?
A: We accept Visa and MasterCard. We use the safest form of secure servers for the transmittal and encryption of your credit card information

Q: Are you set up for Paypal?
A: No, we are not set up for Paypal.

Q: Do you accept checks?
A: Sorry, we do not accept checks.

Q: Why was my subscription automatically renewed?
A: All subscriptions are automatically renewed unless we receive information from you stating you would like to end your membership. If you wish to cancel please contact us 48 hours before your renewal date.

Q: Can I reinstate my subscription?
A: Yes. Re-subscribe using your credit card. Log in using your original Username and Password, then go to MY ACCOUNT, and choose the option to Re-subscribe.

Q: How do I end my subscription?
A: Sign in to your account, then click “My Account“, “Subscription“ and then click “End My Subscription“. You can cancel at any time prior to your monthly renewal date (even minutes after you subscribe) and your subscription will end on your renewal date. You will still have full use of all your membership privileges until your renewal date. If you do not cancel your subscription prior to your renewal date you will be charged per your subscription fee.

Q: I received an email from another member. Do I have to subscribe to reply?
A: Yes, you have to be a subscribed member to respond to messages. Email communications is just one of the great benefits of membership.

Q: Can I still sign in if I end my subscription?
A: Yes, you can sign in but until you renew your subscription you will not have access to membership benefits.

 
   
 
4 - Profiles
 
  Q: How do I create a profile?
A: Go to the “Become A Member” page and fill out all the account information. Then, you click on “ Create My Profile” at the bottom of the page to start creating your Profiles.

Q: Is it free to create a profile?
A: Creating a profile is free but in order to enjoy membership benefits you will be required to subscribe.

Q: Can I modify my profile?
A: You can modify your profile any time.

Q: How do I update my profile once I submit it?
A: Start by signing in at the Members Log In page. Then, go to “My Accounts”, then to “My Profiles”. Click” edit profile” and save changes.

 
   
 
5 - Account Settings
 
  Q: How do I update my sign up information?
A: You will need to sign in using your original username and password. But once inside you can make the changes as needed. Go to “Member Services “and click “My Account” Here you will have access to modify or update information.
 
   
 
6 - Photos
 
  Q: How many photos can I upload?
A: You can upload up to 5 photos. Please keep them wholesome.

Q: How do I upload a photo?
A: Log in and click on “My Account“. From “Account Settings” choose "Photos". You will then see a "browse" button next to an empty box. Click on the "browse" button and select your photo from the location you have saved it on your computer (for best results, the ideal picture size is approximately 150 x 200 pixels and less than 50 KB). Click on "Update Photo" and you're done! Remember, the photo MUST be in .jpg format, or it will not work.

Q: Can I email my photo to you to post?
A: If you are experiencing problems uploading a photo please feel free to contact us at info@matchmakingmoms.com. We will work with you in order to get photos included in the Profiles.

Q: How do I delete a photo?
A: Log into your account, go to “Account Settings“, click “Photos“, and check the delete box for the photo that you wish to be removed. Then press “Continue” for photo to delete.

Q: Will non members be able to view photos?
A: No, only subscribed members can view the photos. Subscribe to the service and you can see photos, profiles and more.

 
   
 
7 - Emails
 
  Q: Do I have to be signed into My Account to read my emails?
A: As a Subscribed Member, you need to sign in to your account for complete access to all emails. Only you will have access to read them.

Q: How do I block a member from emailing me?
A: At the top of a profile simply click “block user”.

Q: Can I receive emails without subscribing?
A:Yes, but unfortunately you will not be able to access the emails unless you renew your membership.

Q: When I reply to an email or send one to another member, how can I remain anonymous?
A: As a subscriber, your email address will be encrypted unless you personally provide it to other members.

Q: Can I still contact a member that I blocked previously?
A: Simply open their Profile from your Accounts page and click “Unblock“. Now you’re free to communicate.

Q: Can I save a copy of my emails to my personal inbox?
A: Yes, you can save emails to your account mailbox. It’s great to have them when you need to refer back.

Q: Can I save emails I‘ve written to other members?
A: Absolutely.

Q: Will I be notified if my emails will be deleted?
A: Yes.

 
   
 
8 - Favorites
 
  Q: How do I get to my favorites?
A: Once you log in as a Member, click on “My Favorites” located at the top of the toolbar.

Q: What do I do with the “My Favorites“ section?
A: When ever you see a possible match for your loved one you can add their Profile to your “My Favorites” folder. Now that you’ve saved their Profile, you won’t have to hunt for them through the search tool in the future.

Q: How do I add a member to “My Favorites“?
A: Each member’s Profile has a link that states “Send to Favorites”. So just a click of a button will allow you to save as many Profiles that match your loved one’s personality. It’s that easy.

Q: How do I delete a member from “My Favorites“?
A: Check the delete box and click update.

Q: How long will members remain in “My Favorites” list?
A: Members will remain in your favorites list until you delete them.

Q: Why would a member I added to my favorite list not appear in my list anymore?
A: A member no longer displays in your favorites list because their membership ended. Don’t let it get you down, though. There are other great people to signing up all the time.

Q: Do I have to subscribe to add someone to my favorites list?
A: Yes, in order to enjoy all the benefits that Matchmaking Friends has to offer it is required to be a member or you won’t be able to access the “My Favorites” section at all.

Q: Do I have to be signed in to see my list of favorites?
A: Yes.

 
   
 
9 - Policies
 
  Q: What policies am I required to adhere to while using either Matchmaking Moms, Matchmaking Friends, or Matchmaking Kids?
A: All members are required to accept the policy and read the terms and conditions before subscribing. It is the members responsibility to understand and read completely before becoming a subscribed member.

Q: Do you have a privacy policy that I’m required to follow?
A: Yes. Click here to read our rules and regulations.

Q: How is my personal information handled?
A: Rest assured that your personal information will not be sold to third parties.

 
   
 
10 - Security and Privacy
 
  Q: How are the emails I send to other members anonymous?
A: Your email will be encrypted therefore not allowing members to know your real email address, unless you personally provide it to other members. Please be respectful in all communications with other Matchmaking members.

Q: How can I set up a web based email account?
A: Setting up a web based email account is easy. Click on www.hotmail.com and follow the steps provided on their website and you‘ll be passing emails in minutes.

Q: Why can’t my password be the same as my email address?
A: For security purposes passwords and email addresses should be different.
